Live From the Bop Cave Vol. 5 Emma Davidson Celebrates Cole Porter

On this week's Live From the Bop Cave, we'll be celebrating the music of Cole Porter with the absolutely astounding singer Emma Davidson, alongside myself, Andrea Rinciari and Eleazar Ruiz Spreafico. Going live on YouTube, Tuesday 8pm BST!

Emma Davidson, a multi-genre Vocalist from South Wales, studied Jazz at the esteemed Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, during which time she performed with artists including Emmet Cohen, Simon Mouiller and Rita Maria. Originally coming from a classical background she is able to blend her voice into a variety of contexts ranging from free improvisation, choral singing, traditional jazz, folk, blues and soul. She has performed in many locations around Wales including 2022 National Eisteddfod and has performed in the Royal Albert Hall as chorus member of BBC National Chorus of Wales in the BBC Proms since 2014. Emma is currently working towards her debut album of original music with a focus on jazz-folk fusion with an aim to record and release in 2024. Emma is a strong believer in the power of the voice being used as a story teller and instrument and does not believe in limiting or restricting what the voice can offer.
